    KCBM T-38C went down 18 Jan 07

Anyone have any details? I hear it was a single talon on a low-level mission... Word is both pilots are ok.

Crap -- my OPR is due. Help.

One of the nice things about being an IP at Sheppard is the international flavor (sts), but my reviewer is a GAF dude. I know we all have our checklists and pubs that always accompany us, so lets leave that out of the discussion. More specifically, what random/unorthodox things to you generally...

Some corporate pilot asked me this the other day: "Why are taxiway lights blue?" HUH? Is there a specific reason? All I can think of is that since all the other colors were taken, and since blue is a "low-key" color that helps the "important" airport lighting stand out. Any ideas...

    Mil-Comp for PIT Grads???

Sup guys -- I'm in PIT here at good ol' SPS. I'm well aware of the mil-competency test that UPT grads can take for the commercial, instrument, etc rating... ...does a mil-comp test apply for PIT grads? Technically, a PIT grad is a CFII and is able to instruct in all phases of composite...
