    Reality for Delta Helps Jetblue

A 30 day month minus 14 days of work equals 16 days off. 17 days off some months. The 16 days off a month comes from Longhorn's post about his historical average days off. It helps if you read the entire thread before responding.

    Reality for Delta Helps Jetblue

Boo Hoo. Your not that important. If it's too much work, do something else where you're better compensated and don't have to work so much. Plenty of people work 16 hour days - doctors, lawyers, etc. Come to think of it, my wife staying home w/the kids while I'm on a trip works 16 hour days.

    Reality for Delta Helps Jetblue

Longhorn makes $62K a year for roughly 16 days of work a month. Very few folks in America would feel sorry for a guy who makes $62K a year for working barely half of every month. Longhorn is a quality guy at our airline and I'm privledged to work w/him. BTW, since he's upgrading on the 190 in...

    EOS still around?

How is Bayou wrong by saying he doesn't know if EOS is still flying? He's not judging EOS. We just see their aircraft parked at T4 everyday.

    JetBlue Jan 11/12 interview news?

That's precisely the kind of info people will pay Kit Darby for. Give her a break. None of that info is a secret. Besides, I thought those percentages were relatively common knowledge. If you've really got a problem w/Skirt posting this stuff then be a man and send her an email from your JB...

    Jetblue EMB rates

Could you please quote the person who used the term benefits in the previous posts on this thread? 401K matching and profit sharing are an important part of total compensation and each employees annual gross. You see, the more we work, the more we make, and in turn the more we receive in 401K...

    Jetblue EMB rates

Don't forget the 401K matching and occasionally some profit sharing when looking at the total compensation picture. BTW, it must be nice to be in a position where you can look down your nose at the low-life people who scrape by at ~$85,000 a year.

A few questions for the Jet Blue pilots on this forum

To be accurate, the E-190 is a 100-seat jet. Also, our E190 FOs will be CAs in about a year and receiving more compensation. MP

    Annapolis antics

Wow, way to pull out the old "liar, liar, pants on fire" response. Very clever and well thought out. Geez, I'd expect that kind of retort from one of my children. To be honest, I didn't apply but was rather contacted through my Congressman w/the offer of appointment after I'd chosen Navy...
