In the 121 world with negotiated contracts, yes. In the corporate world I have yet to see that formula standard. I'm an "SIC" currently and both corporate operators I've worked for pay SICs more like 80-82% of the CA pay. Follow the above advice and you'll be selling yourself waaay short...
I am right there with you. It is a damn lottery. I applied to B6 12/04 and got a call for the interview 2.5 years later this 06/07!!! I applied to AAI 01/00 and have been updating regularly. I've heard nothing-ever-with job fairs and internal recs.

Are pilots given just one raise annually on their anniversary or do you get a contractual raise too? Are payscales out there for the future--2008 and beyoooond? How oftern is the scale evaluated if it's not available for the future?

There is more variation in Part 91 Universe than in the 121 World. In stating Part 91 I am specifically excluding any aircraft on a certificate.
