What has ALPA done for me lately?

    Wow! Good answer.

    Attn Delta Pilots-

Correct but, training pay is taken into account when building up to ALV. That is what I was referring to. For example, this month I had recurrent. My line value was 61 which is below the lowest threshold for the ALV of 72. So, the 6 hours of training brought me up to 67 (still too low for me...

    Attn Delta Pilots-

There are three separate categories: 767 domestic, 767ER international and, 767-400. Domestic 767 stays in North and Central America. 7ER flies EVERYWHERE. Both categories fly the 757-200, 200ER, 300, 767-300, 300ER. The 767-400 is a separate category all by itself. As long as at least...

    Delta Hiring

Reps are line pilots that fly regular schedules just like you and me. Just wanted to clarify.

    Collusion?

Dont' worry, I got it. I was trying to figure out how to include in my response, "60% of the time, it works every time."

    Delta AE Surplus Bid:

I thought the same thing during the last displacement. Now that I am back on the ER I'm thinking about taking a VD down to ATL -88. I've been chasing money for the last few years (as well as the fantastic European layovers) and it is now time for me to chase QOL. I'm sorry but, I can't...

Low pilot pay called 'dirty little secret'

We've only been picketing with signs that say, "I make less than $21,000 a year" for about fifteen years. I also seem to remember quite a few full page ads in the USA Today that said about the same thing. Now they notice? Whatever.

Ahhh, I see. No, no I do not know that story. I thought ugasucks was referring to something relating to us Auburn folks.

Brian LePrik Hired at Falcon Aviation

It was Brussels, not Amsterdam ;). Me and my fellow native Newnanite just had a relaxing night people-watching on the boardwalk in AMS (den Haag).

Brian LePrik Hired at Falcon Aviation

I soloed at FFC in 1992 back when it was just a small FBO run flight school, Stevens then Huntingdon I think. I even went back to be an instructor there in 1999 when Falcon's predecessor, Peachtree Flight Center was there. I mostly enjoyed PFC, shame what it has turned into. What ever...

    CAL System bid out.

Hey brother! I had heard that TPA and LAX might open up on this bid as domiciles. Did that happen? Sucks for our buds on furlough though. To show you how our summer is going to go Crew Planning has postponed my conversion up to JFK ER. They need me too much in ATL so they can fly my butt off.
  19. Capt. Caucasian

AirTran Airways pilots ARE now ALPA!!

No. During the CAL strike he got a job at United as a sim instructor. When United struck he honored their picket line and quit. Also, I believe he was the Honolulu FE Rep at the time. My memory might be a bit fuzzy. I am remembering all this from drinking beers with him.
