jetblue closes the door 20' prior to departure.
Just get there as early as you can can and suck it up if you don't make it. If the crew knows your there or see you we will do everything we can to get you on. Transition from Yoke to Joystick
Agree will all the above posts. Not an issue after 30 minutes. But I would prefer a yoke in a gusty crosswind, not much feel with the sidestick. Nice on long transcons though!- Jungle Prop

Nice view
Those seats look identical to the ones in the A320. They are very comfortable. They recline quite a bit with adujstable armrests. Add in the footrests that come down and it's pretty comfortable. Some JetBlue Questions.
You will have a 2 year equipment lock on the 190, then you can bid for the 320. If you get the 320 right away you will be in JFK for at least 6 months. It has been about 4 - 6 months to hold FLL.
