    Passed my Re-check at TSA

Here's the big secret: Know your flows, callouts, memory items and limitations COLD before the sim. So cold, you can do them at any time if I were to jump out at you and say 'After Landing Flow' you could do it, then, '10000' climbing flow' and you'd rattle off that. '2 Engine Go around...

"Navigator or Helicopter time is meaningless at 'company X'"

Got that in an email today regarding a job. Geez, thanks for your service to your country too I guess. I know the person didn't mean it that way, but it sure don't sound nice. And oh yeah, I didn't learn anything sitting 3 feet behind the pilot for 1600+ hours. Yeah, I'm venting. 'Meaningless'...

    Cargo out of PWA?

I heard someone was running cargo out of KPWA (Wiley Post, Oklahoma City). not THROUGH, as in they were based here. Anyone know who that is? Navajo and Baron I think. I know there are a few that come through here but haven't heard of someone based here.

Too funny! http://www.gizmodo.com/ (scroll down to the aircraft interior photo) http://www.newlaunches.com/archives/airbus_a350_with_bmw_interiors.php "Don’t hold your breath for this to appear on US airlines, which will probably be coming out with a bare lightbulb and straw on the floor for...

    Please sue me?

I saw this on climbto350: (ad wanting fast track FO to PIC candidates for an all demand cargo op) Minimum requirements : 60 years, ATP, etc... Um, wouldn't that be grounds for a lawsuit on age discrimination? Makes you wonder what that company is like...

WTD: Freight/135 SIC/CFI job close to OKC

I am looking for Southwest/Midwest freight/135 operators with SIC's. I'm based in Oklahoma City but I own a 182, so commuting a couple few hundred miles is pretty painless. Shreveport is 2 hours, Baton Rouge is a little less than 4. Harlingen is 5.5 with a stop, so that's too far. :) I wanted...

Wanted: Trade flight time in my 182 for multi

Like all low timers, I need multi. I want to trade flight time in my 182 for some twin time in the Oklahoma City area. Last good example I had was a friend who had bought some block time. MEI who gave me dual, as I gave them dual in the 182 at a two for one trade. I log an hour with them, they...

    Anyone need ferrying in FL?

I'm available next week and can be in FL panhandle in about 7 hours. Own a 182, will come down for decent money. As long as my expenses are paid, and I make a few bucks. I'm in Baton Rouge right now, so locations like KTLH are less than 3 hours. I have $100,000 coverage on anything less than...
