There is a reason that most of the pilots there are have been there for 20 to 30 years. I believe that last time they hired was in '06 or '07. All due to retirements, IIRC.
I know the pay to start was 75k to 85k. That is when they still had Hawkers. And most people started in the Hawker...
I heard it was filled by a local guy with prior G time. If that helps know if that may be him.
I know I got a letter today from them dated 8/12 saying it was filled. Then contacted another source, and was told about the local guy.
I only know what I posted because I have a buddy that works there. And I have submitted a resume for the openings. Although I would like the G position if I was to choose. It would provide me an opportunity to see the world, and have that almighty G type.
Sorry for long winded to answer...
I would beg to differ that the most important part of a company is the HR department when it comes to an aviation company. I would say the DO, CP and other pilot managers are. These people with HR degrees know nothing about aviation at all. I have experienced it first hand twice this year. I...

Hey Dudley, I never posted anything about going to some "leftist" blog anyway. That was someone else that posted that.
I was commenting on your post about working for a union airline, also on the other poster that took a guess at my question to you.
So you do realize that the regional...
If that is the case then, you better make sure everything you purchase, wear, consume, drive, fly or use is union made. Make sure the line guy filling your plane is union and anyone that works on your planes or services them is too. Which, BTW is impossible in these days.
Oh yeah, make...
Yeah, that was the dumbest thing that Raytheon did was call the BeechJunk a Hawker 400XP. Now you hear people, especially owners in the frac biz, saying I have a share in a Hawker. It is real funny when you big them up in the "real" Hawker (800XP) and they ask what kind of plane is this? You...
