    Is anyone hiring?

There's probably more hiring going on out there than you think, although most of the jobs are probably with companies and in places you've never heard of. There's a good tool here: http://www.mypilotcareer.com/Airline_Pilot_Jobs.php Input your flight times and it will show you a list of jobs...

    Atlas info

Can't speak much about the STN situation, but when I was there it was very difficult to break guarantee. They would typically work me right up to it, then I'd find myself sitting somwhere for days on end. Very financially challenging (for me personally, anyway). IMHO...there are much better...

    atlas hiring

That's great that they acknowledge there's a problem and say they're working with management toward a solution...but they've been saying that exact line for years. "abandon hope, all ye who enter here"

    ASA Interview

If it's your first ever interview, you may want to consider doing an interview prep. AirInc does them in the Atlanta area: www.jet-jobs.com www.mypilotcareer.com does them for ASA also, and is run by a couple of ex-ASA guys.

    Family travel on UPS

Is it possible for crewmembers' families to travel on freighters? I met a classic captain in Hong Kong who was on layover with his son...it didn't occur to me until later to ask if the son had traveled over on UPS. Thanks!

    UPS Schedule question

Hey all- Could someone PM me with a copy of a monthly schedule? I've read all the posts on here regarding them, but I would like to actually get a look at one. Much appreciated.

Atlas Air Announce Order for 12 747-8Fs

Yeah...that's ridiculous. You can plan on being out 42 days and not making guarantee.

    ASA clown show

    Crap...incompetence I mean. I guess I'm incompetant too. Where's my management app?

    ASA clown show

Let's see...a new parking plan, proto-type passenger bridges (anyone remember the largest commute-a-walk system in the world that never moved?), and a new vision. These guys really need to get a new playbook, I remeber when they tried all the same sh!t years ago and none of the problems got...

    Cathay Pacific pilots please help

If you do cruise the boards at pprune...take what you read with a grain of salt. CX is a very good gig (yes, even the freighter).

Is this move a career killer???

The shine wears off a heavy jet cockpit quite quickly, then all you're left with is the lifestyle afforded by the company. If that lifestyle makes you miserable, quit and don't look back. Life is too short to spend it living in a GD airplane.
