Seeee ya DFW
Hey ifly, "delete the speeds" was always music to our ears! When Dallas crews came through ATL, we always wondered why they didn't just put the turn to downwind and the speeds on the arrival. I like spagettii. :-) Good to see you the other day in SLC.

Charlie was just coming in when I was leaving....he seemed like a reasonable man to me....especially when comparing him to everyones hero the Ross man. A work of art there. Wonder where he ended up.
I enjoyed flying at Cherry.....great experience; great bunch of guys.
About a year ago I took some advice from this board and have been very happy. Deer Stags. Get the ones with S.U.P.R.O. Sock on the souls. JC Penney, 45 bucks, very comfortable, never sets off the TSA folks.
Nice
Hey Shawn thanks for the clip. Brought a very big smile to my face....well worth the download time. Use to spend all my spare money sport diving but never realized they don't even try to stagger them out of each side from a C-130 in the Mil. Must make for some exciting encounters with...
A320 with 400 seats?
FL717 and flx757,
You guys probably have it right but.... we landed in Northwest Regional (XNA) the other day and one of your very nice looking 320s was sitting on the ramp in front of the big hangers. I got to talking to our fueler about the airplane and he said there...
repost on rehired numbers
Interesting question from Blzr:
"How many of those furloughed now have gainful employment at another airline or fractional? Good luck to all that are on furlough."

Hear, hear.
Nothing wrong with your friend's memory, and I like his conclusions. Time for us to do what we need to do. What we've needed to do for a long time.
The United States will never win the hearts or trust of hostile Arab countries or change the tone of Arab television broadcasts...
Rerouted,
One option, once you have the ifr minimums is to haul checks. Sounds like you're closing in on it.
I'ld say get as much multi as you can get at this point while checking out how much multi the check-haulers in your area require. Usuallly one to two hundred hours...
Avbug,
Thanks for the well documented response. Your answer is pretty much the way I figured it would be. I thought I'd heard of people in the past doing a practical test with the examiner on the ground so I didn't want to tell my friend flat out no, it can't be done, till I checked it...
OK, I know it sounds bizzare (at least it did to me) but before I start digging into the FARs and call the local FISDO (and get ahold of someone who hasn't a clue) I thought I'd ask the afficionatos on this board if I can give someone a flight review while standing on the ground.
The person...
Macele,
Happy Birthday!
One option for you if you live in Dallas county is Mountain View Community College. They have a good aviation program with pretty flexible hours. I did the associate thing with them at night while working and flying during the day and you can save a ton of money by...
Hello.....its a reference aid. Does it replace your jepps? Of course not.
If before a trip I write down all the frequencies I will be using for that trip
It might be considered dilligent, or overkill. But to print out a sheet that
you may use more than once.......now thats dangerous.
Can anyone point me to the ASA cheat sheet for the ATL system. I was told
I could print it out from the ALPA board.......is it on the message board
somewhere?
Thanks, O2
`Retiring Brasillias
It's been fun taking a few of those brasillias out of Dallas to Macon on their last flight with ASA. Did not shed a tear.
I guess this airplane sort of grows on you after a while. But then again so does fungus so I say bring on the jets!
Hey Ifly.
