    Question about trikes? Stall/spin?

No expert advice here by a long shot, just an observation. Would you think that if he was flying the trike under normal conditions as opposed to aerobatics he would have had the same fate? Tell me would YOU fly a trike in the same way he did? ps. guess I'm not worthy of a "brightspark"...

    Question about trikes? Stall/spin?

I don't have the back story to this one, but looks like the guy was really asking for it. Warning - hard to watch! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_vbrMUCuZE so, yeah I guess they can spin? Another interesting compilation about early trikes. Check out the BRS chute firing off in the last...

    Check Ride coming up....

You know, EVERY examiner is a little different, therefore every exam experience will be different from the rest. Take mine for example. My examiner is an old-timer with two hangars filled with Aeroncas, old pipers, wacos etc that he works on himself. Therefore, his "trip" was delving into...

    My Next Adveenture! Departing 06/02/07

From the pics he provided, it is a geared engine, GO-480's (unmistakable from the cowling). I think it's a AC-560?

    My Next Adveenture! Departing 06/02/07

How much time are you spending over water? My extremely uneducated point of view tells me those geared Lycs are real fussy, right? I like the sound they make that's for sure.

    Surfing Peru

Did you see one of those peruvian bamboo surf boards that you sit on? I hear they are extremely hard to ride. They go back 1000s of years. But nuff about surfin, how were the peruanas? :pimp:

    Air and Sea Show KFLL

My fav place, hands down is the Holland park ramp at the end of Johnson st. Hollywood. Secluded, plenty of cheap, shaded parking. And kinda close to the action, just head south. 3 well maintained ramps with lots of traction. Also a great place to head to miami. Personally I'd try to get there...

    Air and Sea Show KFLL

Are they based out of FLL or OPF this year? For the last two years they moved everything to OPF, my guess is disruptions to FLL traffic.

What size boat? I went with my tiny weenie 16' and a friend went with his 19' and man we were bobbing like corks in a bathtub, it was rough as hell out there and it took at least 15min to get anchored. You need something AT LEAST over 27' to absorb all the waves. But man the site of an F-15...

Anybody live/commute from Port St. Lucie, FL

Don't forget Sebastian - some of the nicest boating I've ever done. Dolphins, fishing, etc and if you surf (not me) Sebastian's got the waves. If you don't own a boat rent one for a day, and cruise the canals, you'll be hooked.

Few Skyhawks Crossing The Pond Today And Tomarrow

My ol man ferried Cessna's back in the day from the factory to the americas (south of the border), anything from a 150 (one time) up to 402s. But the worst was an Agwagon he had to drag down there, yikes.
