    United Airlines Pilot Retirement Benefits

Hey...just doing some research on this issue... Can anyone at UAL tell me exactly how your retirement benefits break down? Leaving aside profit sharing, how does your B-Plan work as well as your C-Plan? I'm pretty sure you get a 9% B-Plan contribution regardless but is your C-Plan a variable...

Hey guys, I don't know much about the single engine charter world but a former student of mine is in the process of buying a 2006 Piper Saratoga TC. He is wondering if it possible to do IFR 135 stuff (he would put it on an existing certificate) as a means to defray cost. I couldn't answer his...

Has anyone on here ever brokered piston aircraft as a full-time or part-time job? I am contemplating getting into it and am in the process of selling my friend's airplane for him as a way to figure out if it is something I would enjoy doing. If you have done this before (or are doing it...

Per Diem Deduction Question - Taxes

On October 1, 2005, the GSA increased the FY2006 per diem rates substantially. Now even though they are for FY2006, does that mean I can use those rates for my 2005 tax return since they are effective 10/1/05? If this is the case, it will help people out significantly. -Neal
