    Govt $$$ for furloughee training??

    I've heard there are grants available to furloughed pilots through the government to further your career, ie type ratings, etc. Anyone have any info on this? Is it a state or federal thing, and has anyone known of it actually coming through? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Furloughed...

    shipping a car

    Unrelated to aviation, but... My friend (former-Eagle) San Juan based , bought an old Toyota Land Cruiser while down there and want to have it shipped to Florida. Anyone know how to go about this and a ballpark $$$ figure? Any info would be greatly appreciated. watr1
