According to APC forums, G4 has no trouble attracting the interest of regional guys, who even after being told both sides of the story say, "It's got to be better than were I'm at," and who still believe the myth G4 pilots are home every night. I don't know if this is translating into full... -

Mesa = no upgrade and no pay
Mesa's overall senior workforce and reduction in RFD to keep flying/upgrade AC is the basic contributor to why no one actually toiling there will see more on the paycheck anytime soon. -

I have no problem doing the 5 hours with reductions. You get to know pilots you share joint operational control with.You also re-familiarize yourself with the cockpit layout and get a visual lesson on what the pilots are doing when the radio in an issue. It is also a great way to trade rumours...- brokedash

What is going on at United???
They can make some simple changes to help. Improve BoB offerings, let pax know what features a plane will have, adjust change fees and ticket prices to better compete. Expedite 50 seater phase out and start looking for something to bridge the gap between 76 seats and 125 seats. Compete smartly... -
