Reality... Very well put. This is turning into a world of greed and this topic has its roots there. These people who are asking for others to step down are only looking at moving up the seniority sooner. When its their turn to make the decision, there will be a whole new list of excuses why...
Everyone that I talk to here has indicated that they will not work voluntary OT until everyone has been offered their position back. There are one or two people that have been vocal about not being able to afford the reduced schedule. Their attitude is not shared by the rest of us.
I actually have numerous friends at NJA. My post was not to wish bad things on anyone. I honestly hope that you don't lay off a single pilot. To think that a company will continue to support an overstaffed workforce is just not realistic. Sorry..
