Rumor: SWA to announce DEN pilot bases tomorrow 1/31/12

In Mecca for training and had several chief pilots on the shuttle to the hotel....said there might be an announcement soon....they had thought it would be yesterday but some second guessing was going on.....Sounds like SWAPA recommended DEN or LAX.

    Ok, thanks for the info.

SLI is out, it looks good for both sides

That is a much different list than the one that was posted on another thread. Since I am not a AT guy I don't really know which is correct, but this list has much lower numbers

SLI is out, it looks good for both sides

The AT retirement list was posted on here last week or the week before. IF you add up the year and number of retirements (I assume they are Capts) then you come up with just under 700 age 65 retirements on the AT side of the house during the next 10 years.

SLI is out, it looks good for both sides

From what I have heard and seen in the crew room and overnights....too many SWA guys and gals that are very unhappy. Feel GK gave away too much and also didn't sweeten the deal on the SWA side.. SLI list means nothing for the next 3 years since there will not likely be growth since AT (by our...

    SWAPA is a joke

    Priceless BS

    SWAPA is a joke

Actually the 1.25 rate is only for parings other than ATL and only if a FO is flying with a AT Capt that is junior to him. So between the seat lock and the fence what are the realistic chances of anyone being paid that rate.......

SLI is out, it looks good for both sides

Funny....I had an overnight and there were several guys at the bar that wanted to "call out" a few of the posters on here..........funny how different guys named the same people

SLI is out, it looks good for both sides

They can always send it to the membership with a yea or nay recommendation. Nothing to loose by letting everyone vote.

SLI is out, it looks good for both sides

Has anyone seen a complete SL with everyone on it?

    SWA/AAI SLI agreement in principle.

I fly on Air Tran every week. They have always treated me great and I think they do a great job on the ground and in the air. As a SWA pilot I don't think their acquisition brings much to the plate for us other than some increase on the SLI and another base (Atl). There are some of us that...
