SLI is out, it looks good for both sides

If I was an AirTran guy I'd vote yes! If a SWA guy, I'd vote no way Jose!

    SWAPA is a joke

Coming from the guy turned down at Southwest numerous times and then begged for a staple a few weeks before they bought you. LOL Wow, I'll bet you're a crack poker player! Not.

    SWAPA is a joke

Being that a straight staple with a no furlough clause would have easily passed a vote at the trannie, I'd say your guys got played too. What a bunch of amateurs. I've never seen a luckier group of pilots than the trannies. Amazing!

SWA/AAI - Both Groups Are Better Than This.

I didn't say that AirTran pilots weren't any good or qualified. I said that AirTran pretty much hired anybody that they could. Much harder to get in at SWA. Why wouldn't AirTran hire an AirForce One pilot if he applied there? I'm sure they would. It's just that not many pilots like that applied...

SWA/AAI - Both Groups Are Better Than This.

Yeah but look at Lear70. He got turned down by Southwest three times but easily got on at AirTran. Then he used to get on flightinfo and beg to be stapled to SWA. He apparently wanted to be a Southwest pilot so bad but couldn't. Now all of the sudden he pretends that a staple isn't good enough...

SWA/AAI - Both Groups Are Better Than This.

Why should even one single SWA pilot be pissed? They busted their butts to get to SWA. AirTran supposedly would hire anyone who could fog a mirror.
  7. Bob Dylan

    SWA/AAI SLI agreement in principle.

You can't argue with that. Yoyoma brings up a valid point. How many trannies got turned down by Southwest? By his own admission, Lear70 got rejected by Southwest at least two times, plus all his begging on flightinfo for SWA to buyout AirTran and staple everybody. It just rings very hollow now...

SWA/AAI - Both Groups Are Better Than This.

I heard a story about a clueless guy with a very bad attitude that couldn't get hired anywhere. Got turned down twice at Southwest and every other airline where he interviewed. Finally AirTran picked him up. He's a captain there now and could be a Southwest captain soon. Makes you want to...

SWA/AAI - Both Groups Are Better Than This.

Look up "sanctimonious piece of crap" in the dictionary, and you'll see a copy of the first post here. Trannies can't take back what's been said on here. You guys were given a golden lottery ticket and you spit it back in SWA pilots' faces. Oh well for you.
  10. Bob Dylan

SWA/AAI - Both Groups Are Better Than This.

You think this sappy piece of crap deserves it's own thread? Don't drag both groups into your fantasy. As an outside observer, it's the trannies here on FI that give you guys a bad name. I haven't read anything unreasonable from the Southwest pilots. You trannies just hit the frickin lottery...

    SWA/AAI SLI agreement in principle.

Yep. My job here is done. Thanks for playing. C ya.
  12. Bob Dylan

    SWAPA might like SWA proposal

Hmm, i think SWA offered you all jobs and you turned them down right? Yeah, I'm sure everybody will feel really bad for you.
  13. Bob Dylan

    ATNALPA Communication

I'd be willing to bet that SWA will offer you guys preferential interviews, even after they offered you all jobs and you turned them down.
  14. Bob Dylan

    My response to SWA package!

    SWAPA might like SWA proposal

Oh boo hoo. All of us in the cheap seats feel very sad for you and your golden lottery ticket with the massive pay increases and benefits when your crappy airline got bought out by Southwest. You would have dropped to your knees for a SWA job before they buyout was announced. Now it's just greed.

    ATNALPA Communication

Even I heard the offer. Much better than I would ever accept if I was a SWA pilot, but that's just me. Apparently the trannies want more, and I predict they will now end up with zip, zero, zilch. If that's true, it couldn't be better news for SWA pilots because there won't be any integration...

    SWAPA might like SWA proposal

I predict Southwest will start hiring soon!
  19. Bob Dylan

    SWAPA might like SWA proposal

Glad to see the FI trannies are finally coming to their senses. Posturing in negotiations is one thing, but when you have no leverage you just look silly. Take the staple, count your blessings for your good fortune and move the heck in with your lives already.
  20. Bob Dylan

    SWAPA might like SWA proposal

If AirTran is invited to a meeting with the CEO of SWA, it's probably more like a job interview than anything. Hopefully the trannies don't blow it. GK: Here's what we'd like to offer you. AT: Um, no we want more. GK: Ok then, f@&k off! We'll just run the company separately and keep shrinking...
