140/95 is pre-hypertension, garlic is fine so is a diuretic a day or so prior to the exam may work just as well. Regardless, start with your diet, cut back on the sodium, fried foods, and definitely the fast foods. Exercise is okay, but make sure you are not pushing over 145/95 before you work...- dondk
