    Because it is illegal to discriminate based on whether an individual is a reservist or not, hence the lawsuit. It doesn't matter if they want to hire or not. They cannot discriminate solely on the basis of one's military status.

A close friend of mine was fired, yes fired, for taking military leave. The VA got involved and sued CAL. He received his job back, but they did not want to honor...

    Look at the schedules at United. Look at the Dec bids on Skynet and see how many legs you fly a day w/ the guppy vs the airbus. 2 different types of flying. You will get to the Caribbean in the Bus, not w/ the guppy. Good luck..

    3 yr seat lock on the 737 or the A320. All new hires go to those 2 a/c. 757/767 upgrade possible w/in 4 years. 4 hour call out for short call. 13 hours for long call. Training center director told our class last week that the UAL BOD approved the purchase of "several" widebodies in Spring...
