    Netjets attrition prediction--hey that rhymes!!

The biggest reason NJA SIC's are not leaving in droves is that a huge percentage of them went to NJA for two reasons: 1)No turbine PIC 2)Over age 60 Unless the majors have an awakening and realize that a 5000-10,000 SIC with widely varying experience is more valuable than a 2000 hr RJ captain...

    Pretty sad...thanks DS

G200 is the guy who thinks everybody loves him, but they are actually laughing behind his back at what a tool he is. I know I do. Promoting extended days during furlough, trying to out people from anonymous forums on the company board - to the possible detriment of their career, posting pics...

    NJI Questions

You have to wonder if the integration would have taken place under Sokol regardless of pilot input from either side? Definitely kills a lot of redundancy and streamlines the operation. If this is the case (and we'll never know), the NJI pilots got a very sweet deal.

NetJets returns to profit in first quarter

A legitimate answer: We don't consistently make money either. If we have more consistently made profits, I would attribute that to bargaining power. I would guess we pay less for fuel, ramp fees, mx, hotels, rental cars, etc., because of our size.

    NJA Downgrades

Here's the deal on 4/19 from sources as reliable as they get without talking to Sokol himself. DS wants more furloughs. Scheduling and the union are telling him it's not possible without major changes for the worse in coverage and service. NJA is staffed appropriately according to the people...

Of All the Days to NOT Have Access to the NJA Board

I wonder if Cast of Thousands will make a post? Yet another casualty of Sokol's reign. Bring in the "yes" men. I feel bad for Bill but he will certainly land on his feet. Our loss.

Here's a new one from NJA, pretty funny.

If you are in a room receiving confidential info from mgmt, you tell me, I tell the world, whose ass is on the line? Not mine. Don't blame the furloughees for spreading what they apparently were never supposed to hear.

    More cuts coming at Netjets????

Ha ha ha!!! But you have to live in ATL or start and end your trip in a middle seat if there happens to be one available. We, on the other hand, can live in a NICE place and airline to work on duty, often in first class.

Any Reviews From Fellow Frac Pilots Using the QC15 w/UFlyMike

Not me, but on our company boards the consensus is positive. Significantly more noise cancelling and the mike works fine.

    Irony

I'm pretty sure he has tried Flex or at least checked them out. Seems pretty savvy about the industry. Guess where his business remains? Maybe he doesn't want pilots who receive illegal and unsafe rest periods flying him and his family around after their surprise 0400 show?

    Irony

That was in VERY poor taste! :( NJA Owner has nothing to do with our CBA or dealings with the company. I think he was only making a guess at what may occur, not an endorsement of it. Furthermore, from your post, I have to wonder if you even work for NJA? If so, you should be ashamed of...

Am I The Only One Left?

This thread is unreal. What a bunch of children. The van drivers hate you guys no matter what because a) you have miserable jobs and resulting attitudes and b) $1 is an insult but at least a nice gesture. Oh, and yes, you should be tipping the hotel maids too.

Anvantair Santo talks about taking marketshare

So, according to your numbers, the Ultra has a taller cabin than the Beechjet (wrong) and length of the Piaggio cabin is irrelevant? I think I'll just go ahead and stick with how it felt. I do think the Piaggio is a sweet turboprop. Performance, speed, economy are terrific for a turboprop...

Anvantair Santo talks about taking marketshare

Competes with a Hawker in cabin size??? Maybe you're talking about a "Hawker" 400? A couple of your pilots gave me a tour of the Piaggio. I thought it was very nice but certainly nowhere close to a Hawker 800. The cabin was much closer to Beechjet/Ultra size and I shudder to imagine being in...

    Video from CNBC-Santulli CEO NetJets

I totally agree with jpeace and pilot 772. I see far less participation than I expected and it's very disappointing. The major disappointment to me is that NJASAP didn't even try to convince anyone to help out. The package was presented as "do what's good for you" and not "please do...

    Comair's new travel benefits...

It makes me nauseous every time I read about another beatdown being given to airline labor. A little here, a little there, and pilots living in a state of low-level fear all the time. Then, of course, there are pilots of other companies defending it because it makes their job look a little...
