Why they call me Dicko, is a personal matter. Much like my choice of velvet and rubber in everyday clothing.
I was actually attempting to make a point. No, I wouldn't ignore Retro. However; 22% of the pilot group are 'different' in some ways. That can either be a strength or a weakness.
The...
I wonder if having 'no shows' for class in 2014 moved the needle slightly ? No matter what your views are; getting a class date at SWA was statistically difficult and in the past the pilots hired were not really the type (no pun intended) to just not show up. It seems bizarre, rude and bridge...
At least min COLA eh ? Wow. Quite the warrior spirit.
How many days off did you get ? Include your commuting days since you had to commute in a day early, or day late for each trip. Unless you consider your commute time off ? 85 hours of block is nothing to be proud of. It's over 1000 block...
Absolutely not ! I've been wearing mine proudly for 6 months. Seriously, I haven't taken it off. I look lithe and supple, like a tiger. My reflexes are lightning fast and I feel much more vigorous and powerful.
I have heard some people in the street make comments, but I don't understand most...
My god, thats brilliant. You're quite the wordsmith. What happens after they receive your witty sharp edged rebuttal ? Please, do go on. You cant just leave us hanging.
Merica !
Slaquer,
I disagree. At least the return of the mighty eight track is a right and noble cause. However; 'Flops' hate for my beloved SWA is a downright perversion. Bordering on racist. I also suspect him as a communist, a xenophobe and have heard from a reliable source - that he is a raging...
Or in your case; the Talk of the Cock. What a happy coincidence, and an excellent segue to my favorite AirTran moment - The (full) service monkey in business class.
?
Much like the offers made by SWAPA.
Ironically, the one thing that both sides agree on is the fact that the bar is very, very low. The battle is about how far below inflation, and how much lower than other majors retirement they can both go.
That's cool - My concern is about affordability to...
I think you may have misunderstood.
The '100NM further' is not in comparison to the 321NEO. It's 100NM further than the 757W. Given your logic above, you couldn't fill the 757 and go across the pond westbound. Which isn't the case.
I had a friend on the other side translate for me.
Comparing a SWA LNAV/VNAV to AirTran LNAV/VNAV :
SWA does not set a DA, in lieu of an MDA. They use a derived DA (MDA +50) so that they don't go below minimums on a missed approach. We use a DA that allows us to go below the MAP altitude (like...
The mode annunciation is an FMA on the PFD. The MDA(DA) is set separately. it doesn't have anything to to with a mode annunciation of ALT hold.
Or there is something very, very different about SWA 737s.
