2nd big industry announcement? The TEB ramp is getting crowded

Shall we start taking bets now on how long the delays @ TEB will be?

    Calling in sick?

If you want an all expense paid trip to visit your Chief Pilot; go for it. Buy a ticket & keep a low profile at work.

    FlexJet and a slow death.

Seems to me four is better than zero

    Was that a landing?

Ever done a gusty, crosswind landing in a 727-200. This is where the phrase "any one you walk away from, is a good one", came from.

    Short runway

Quite true. I would love to know the reported weather and the reported runway conditions (including who generated the report; vehicle or aircraft).

AA/US Airways merger and impact to their regionals...

What Jon said...The day will come when the AA unions regret giving their support to Doug Parker. I feel sorry for the AA people (workers, not management). The workers are going to get screwed; just a matter of who does it to them.

PEOPLExpress tries to fly again as new start-up

one of the AirTran folks said great loads out of PHF. That might be, but, great loads on a fuel efficient B-717 does not mean a profit for a gas guzzling 737-400.

    Airtran Closing 4 cities

SWA would be smart to move the PHF-ATL flights to ORF. The two LGA slots will go to another market where SWA can make bigger money, probably the same for BOS.

    Crew Cars

Some crew cars are newer & better than others; and then is one we had recently. Certainly an old airport car, with the old fashioned 4/40 air conditioning; 4 windows down, 40 mph.

    Sky King adds Lakeland flights

Jesus could we possibly get anymore TZ Warriors in here? TZ Warriors; now there's a phrase I miss

Continental Airlines and mechanic guilty in deadly Concorde crash

Did anyone really think a French court was not going to find fault with a US carrier? Do you really think they would find fault with a French carrier & French (also British) plane?

    United Pilots wake up

You folks better get your stuff together...FAST...whether it ibe ALPA or whoever. With Tague getting more responsibility, it can only get worse!!!
