Public transportation is non-existant here in the murder capital. I would recommend buying an old car and avoiding the roads at night if you're on reserve.
Otherwise you can do what I do. Get a room at a roach hotel like the Days Inn or Quality Inn which costs 40 bucks a night with a crew...
Howard Johnson has a crew rate of 32 bucks per night. It's a decent room, they have a shuttle and there's breakfast too. Not a bad deal.

If youre referring to C.Y. at Aeroservice, I believe he still is. Sadly though, one of their most senior and beloved instructors, Joe Meek has passed away recently.
As for Amerijet, they are the absolute worst of the worst. They're losing people like you would'nt believe and as previously...

Last I heard, they still had about 35 pilots and engineers on furlough. The hiring situation doesn't look good although who knows how this merger might affect things. I certainly hope things will improve soon since they look like a good company to work for. I've jumpseated on Centurio several...
Just went into effect at Pinnacle and it doesn't look good for the junior guys. Recently awarded line holders are going back on reserve and those on reserve (like me) can plan on being there much longer than expected. Just wondering what other people out there thought about it.
