Possible SWA T.A. pay numbers... Embrace the suck.

Let's be clear: even "our kind" would never claim that moron. He's all yours. ;)

    Dead.....

Dead on. Especially that last part. The other parts of this site somehow devolved into the aviation equivalent of Stormfront.org. I just have no desire to be a part of it. And, yes, while a lot of us have moved on to majors and feel less compelled to participate, some of us just grew up.

I cannot agree with this statement enough and I would love to see such a program implemented. Both sides could stand to better understand the the role of the other and to see, firsthand, the outcomes of decisions made by the other.

Where to find "best" on-line Recurrent Training

You might consult the school from which you earned your certificate to see if they offer any kind of recurrent. I know some schools have offered "lifetime recurrent training" in the past. Of course, whether or not those schools are still in business is a whole other story...

What's Going On at SkyWest Inc

If the idea is to, indeed, move toward non-branded, multi-code operations in smaller cities/short-hops/slightly-harder-to-get-to places, a large turboprop makes infinitely more sense than an E170 or CRJ7.

What's Going On at SkyWest Inc

This has been Chippy's dream for years. He was talking about transitioning to this model back in 2008. I just think he screwed up by not going after a new large turboprop for such an operation.

NTSB info on SWA at LGA crash

Where's ATLCrashpad when you need him?

So ExpressJet now has swap/IROP EVERY DAY??

    Hugs and kisses.

So ExpressJet now has swap/IROP EVERY DAY??

Came here to say this. Here's a novel idea, COOPERVANE: get more information before assuming that everyone around you is out to screw up your day. There was a small electrical explosion at 8:40am near gate D21. Passengers were evacuated but have returned. No injuries reported.

    United 175s going to Skywest?

    Winner.

    WSI Fusion?

You guys are quite ahead of us, then.

    Virgin America

It matters because, right now, there's no real money to be made in the mainland-to-Hawaii market. A cursory glance at that airspace shows the following carriers flying California to Hawaii: Alaska, American, Delta, Hawaiian, United. Add Allegiant from LAS, and you have market that cannot...

Southwest changing it's "stance" in ATL. HMMMMMM

I liken GL to the Westboro Baptist Church (on level of annoyance, anyway). If we'd just stop paying attention to them, they'd go away.
  14. WalterSobchak

    Virgin America

I guess they realized that the Hawaii market is beyond saturated?

    WSI Fusion?

I still find FE to be more visually appealing...but, Fusion kicks the rest of FE's features in the shorts. Homer, what version is OO using these days?

168 "Large" Regional Aircraft left for RFP

That's nice. You're completely missing the point, but OK. I'm done here. I don't have to deal with you (and your pathetic little ego) on a daily basis anymore. Vaya con dios.

168 "Large" Regional Aircraft left for RFP

I just hammered out a wall of text in response to this...but, ultimately, decided it wasn't worth it. The long and short is this: No one here is claiming they can do your job. However, the notion that you could walk in and, in an afternoon, be able to do ours is laughable. Every pilot who has...

168 "Large" Regional Aircraft left for RFP

    OK, you win that round.

168 "Large" Regional Aircraft left for RFP

I'm happy to hear that. Genuinely. That's the closest thing to a real, human post I've ever seen from you. Thank you for that.
