    Yay Atlas got a new contract..

    Both are almost right but either way it works out to almost 5hrs minimum of pay for 24hrs of duty. It's worded funny in the contract buy when you work it out thats what it becomes. Clear as mudd?

    My thought process is parking two or three 50's for every guppy brought back. Seems to be way to much overlap in the system. Eight flts a day to a medium city in 50's from three different hubs doesn't make much sense even from a convience stand point.

    EMAS cannot be considered when calculating balance field length....remember accelerate stop distance is not the same thing.

    years ago when this happened at Delta's "redheaded stepchild", I overheard the Capt talking about it and said he was "looking down at a picnic table where he used eat lunch and watch planes land". He kept his job. Don't remember what happened to the FO or who was flying at the time.

    I remember when you needed 2500-3000 hrs to be competitive for a commuter and there were no shortages then. Also, as long as republic is flying 190's for 170 pay rates. We have no chance for higher income.
