    AA Contract UPHELD!!

I am one the 400 on the bottom, so this was a major victory for us bottom feeders. Hopefully this is a bridge us to a merger or new and improved contract by next summer after BK. I believe at this point if AMR doesn't commit to not furloughing the Judge will maintain his position not to grant...

    TWA Lawsuit

Amen, we won and now we seat back and wait for the check in the mail. Who cares what others think, ALPA will be B.K. in a year anyway..........

    AA recall rumors/gossip

True, I was about 3 numbers to be recalled, but now 183 because of the Throw ups which have a very high fail rate according to a AA check pilot.

    Eagle flow ups

Not saying AA training is tougher, just passing what is being said online. Not going to be fun, but back to the question. WHY WOULD ANY ONE past 40 years old WANT TO COME OVER?
  12. 1

    Eagle flow ups

Good luck Eagle flow ups. I am not trying or influence your decision on coming over to AA, but it is not a position i would want to be in. Why would anybody leave a good paying left seat position, probably home based to commute to a mia or jfk 20 days on reserve to fly with a bunch of Cap...

Any New Hires at Atlas Air?

    AA to furlough 178 more

I was just numbers away from being recalled last year and was very upset at the time. Since then I have moved on to brighter pastures and forgot about AA and the saga that goes with it. I hope every one of my TWA brothers and sisters do the same and wake up and relize that AA will never be the...

Age 65 and the "F" word.

I believe @ AA there are less then 100 pilots under 40 yrs old and over 300 plus over 60. Not to mention the 100 will probably furlough Agian. Unf2cking believable greed in our own ranks....

How many hours are you guys flying?

Iam amazed by all the bragging of how little you fly. Ive been laid off 3 times since 2003 asresult of not enough work. I rather be bragging the 800 hrs my company NEEDED my service.

    Need some corporate advise.

Iam back with results, the 91 gig was down to me and another guy with 2500 hrs and no recall rights at a major. Guess who got the job, not me. I am now leaning to stay out of aviation and pursue something where skill and exp. is considered. Maybe someday when I buy a corp. jet I will hire a...

Regarding employment at OMNI Air Int'l

I looked at the parscale online a couple of months ago, I to could not believe even 2 year pay at $57.00 an hour x 60 a month. This career or lack of career is not even close to be being worth it any more. SAD,SAD,SAD. I know people with GEDs that after a couple of years in the workforce make...

    Need some corporate advise.

Thanks all, I believe if the offer becomes aviable i will lean towards the Part 91 gig. I just discussed it this week with a corp. friend and said without it would be very hard to cross over. Once again thanks for all the great insight.
