    NetJets 2nd Qtr Earnings

In my opinion, I don't think you will see recalls for many years. Most people do not realize, the current 495 on the street were NOT hired for aircraft we currently have on the property, they were hired for FUTURE deliveries in 2009 and 2010. If you take a look at the number of pilots and the...

    Dec 19 interview class

Congrats and welcome to Netjets!!! From what I have heard, you are one of the few that got hired.... For all those who have interviews coming up, I would recommend that you make sure you are well prepared for the interview as if you were being interviewed by a Majors.... The days of getting...

    Hmmmmm

Actually old*art, not sure what you are talking about. I had simply "heard" the information from the rumor mill.... Not sure what if any of the information that I posted could be used by our competitors for any reason, do you? We just want to build a large campus, not sure if Columbus is the...

    Hmmmmm

    Yes, thanks for correcting me!
  7. Flynetjets

    Hmmmmm

I have “heard” the following: The company is having a hard time attracting “quality” people to work at Netjets and move to Columbus. The company cannot build anything larger than I think a two story building across from Bridgeway because of the radar site. In fact, the reason that the east...

    ACFT Painter Needed

I specilize in "better than new" aircraft, and one of the best paint shops around is Hawk Aircraft in Tampa Florida, www.hawkaircraftpainting.com. They provide a very good 8.5-9.0 paint job, and they include all of the extras. I just had a Lance painted by them at a cost of $9,500 dollars...

Low Time Commercial Instrument pilot needed for Florida based Corporation

ummm.... well, new Garmin 340 Audio Panel, Garmin 430 NAV/COM/GPS, Garmin GTX 327 Transponder, Garmin 496 GPS Panel Mounted. What else did you have in mind? Oh, also all of the current instruments will be overhauled...

Low Time Commercial Instrument pilot needed for Florida based Corporation

Entry level pilot position with a Florida based Corporation The corporate flight department will be based in Tampa Florida. The corporation has been in business since 1952, and recently has seen a need to purchase their first aircraft and create a corporate flight department. The initial...

    NetJets ever getting EFB?

Regarding EFB's, Rockwell Collins was awarded the contract about two years ago to supply the entire NJA fleet with EFB's (see below). From my understanding it is a pretty slick setup, when you pull into one of our major destination, such as TEB and PBI, you will hit the update button, and all...

    W2's

8 year Netjets Captain, 2006 W2, $156,596, worked 156 days, $15,000 into the 401K with 50% match, $5800 in per dium, did not pay a dime for our medical insurance, based from my home airport

    retired airline pilots at NJA?

I think about 50 to 60 percents of the retired pilots that we have at Netjets do a great job. In my experience, it is those pilots that have had a good career (yes there are a few out there) seem to have the best attitude. Also, those pilots who have done their research prior to applying to...

    NetJets Equipment

Seeing the BBJ program in your career, I do not think anyone can answer that question. We simply do not know what the future holds. Netjets will have a 121 Certificate in a few months, so it will be interesting to see what happens after that. Regarding moving up to larger aircraft, the only...

    Rumor re: NJA domiciles

Njapilot, I heard the same thing. What I heard that they saw a drop in qualifications and have tapped out the CMH/LAX market, and that is why they have now opened up all of the domiciles to new hires. Again, just a rumor, but I heard they are thinking about a system like our former Gateway system.

skiandsurf, that is correct...... if you live within 50 miles in most cases the company will still provide a hotel.....

    NetJet Base Question

Also, your per diem starts when you report for work at your domicile, even if you do not leave. In addition, if you live more that 50 miles from your domicile (if you live less than 50 miles you can request a hotel, and in my experience they will always get you one), they will put you in a...

Live where you want at NetJets?

I wish it worked like that, but unfortunately that is now how the contract reads. It is 30% of total pilots, not new hires.....
