    JetBlue and Chicago Update

It's embarrassing to think FLYER works for UAUA. I'm sure they're embarrassed too over there!

    JetBlue or UAL

    Agreed!

I am absolutely ashamed of our pay rates on the 190. I can't defend that but I was simply referring to where United once was. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And yes I know all about the juniority of our MEC (yes, furloughed/bypassed).

Your reputation obviously precedes you. Not a very good track record from what I read. FSFY

I might add that bankrupcty has beautiful benefits that both Wall Street and the airline managements enjoy.

Agreed! Because that's all that's left in the end...QOL As I've said before, tough to compare 75 years to 6 years.

How much time did Rick Dubinsky have when he got hired at UAL
  12. J

    Wrong again!...Wall Street decides

You certainly are correct about ALPA's less than stellar performance but that is a topic for another day. I wouldn't hold my breath until 2009 before you see any changes to wages. There are far too many possibilites as to what what the landscape will look like for United before that day comes...
  14. J

    JetBlue or UAL

Very short-sighted thinking! Time will ultimately tell!

Not hard to accumulate that kind of cash when you don't contribute to pensions any more and pay the rates they advertise now!. As for the MEC pursuing things, history has proven they will take care of themselves,,,again! Mergers/aquisitions....that will be up to Wall Street and only Wall Street!
