    United Transmissions

    Many UAL guys take the headset off at altitude and use the handmic for transmissions. Hence, the horrible background noise while talking to ATC.

    Airbus guys seem to always use a hand microphone when above a certain altitude. Noise cancelling capabilities of the 80's Airbus design is limited.

    Seems like Frontier is routing a significant number of flights through MKE. Any idea how many flights have been dropped post-Republic? Den-Lga for instance is down to one non-stop, other flights go through MKE.
