Wings for a Breezy
I am interested in building a breezy but am also interested in building the wings. Does anyone know if I can get Piper wing plans? I have also heard reference to Piper wing kits! Does anyone have info on anyone offering Wing Kits? Thanks!- racerX

Piedmont Q400???
On Sept. 16th the Bankruptcy judge approves the US Airways reorganization plan (this includes the merger). Once that happens, it's a done deal. It's just a mater of paperwork. No firm date is set but they have always said by the end of OCT. and every day earlier than that is a plus for them... -

AWA Alpa just approved a Transition Agreement with management that, from what we're hearing, will keep all 190's with US Airways paint for mainline. -

I'm surprised they're going to use the US Airways logo. Not that America West is such a great name but much of America hears US Airways and thinks Bankrupt Airline. And after last winter, cancelled flights. I think it will take more to turn around their image than it would to introduce ours. -

Sierra Academy T.U.
I taught at Sierra for 2 1/2 years in the early 90's and I am surprised that they are giving up the MX training. That was always their bread and butter. AWA hiring to continue
The only "Firm" aircraft orders on the books are for 2 airbus next year but many higher ups speculate that is not all we will see over the next few years. The trans-continental stuff has just started along with the Costa Rica stuff. If these take off at all, there is rumors of more long haul... -

The chief pilot just sent out a message saying they were told to continue hiring until told otherwise. And I was just in recurrent and the Airbus Fleet Capt. said that they have planned "pretty big classes through March". -
