    My guess is they have already filled that class. They might have last minute fills, but for the most part it should be set. We just had the new hire party tonight for the 9 May class....good time. You'll love it when you get here!

    Oreo, Most of the time it is the Chief Pilots who call. My board was called by the People Department, and I was called on a Saturday.

    SWA training info

    I start training next month and we are staying at the Holiday Inn Select. For the interview I stayed at the Renaissance....nice visit. Met with a lot of interviewees in the bar, as well as other SWA pilots who were back getting check rides. This seems to be the hotel of choice for interviews.

    WNFO...I think there is a mix. I was in the Sep 06 DB. I could be wrong, but I don't think any of the March DB have been contacted with training. We'll see once people start responding to my post!

    I would still go, but that is coming from a military guy who didn't have much information about the airlines at that time. You could attend again once you have your PIC time with fresh new resumes in your hand.

    REK....you are correct. For training classes, they just send you an e-mail inviting you for training the next month (received mine yesterday!). You have to get in contact with them to get the specifics. Back in July 06, I received an e-mail with no subject line. I almost deleted it thinking...

    I'd like to bring this thread back to its original purpose....April SWA training classes. I've heard some people mention they are signed up for the 4 Apr class. Anyone been officially signed up for the 18th or 25th classes? I was told to expect 18 Apr, but nothing official yet.

    I haven't seen any other posts for SWA Apring training classes, so I thought I'd get one started. Has anyone been given a firm date yet? I'm hoping the calls/e-mails start going out this week....we'll see. Last I heard, there should be 3 classes next month, but we know things can change...
