Airlines tend to receive all kinds of harsh feedback from disgruntled travelers. But they do the best they can?and sometimes much more than that.
Just ask passenger Peggy Uhle, who will be forever grateful to Southwest Airlines after they helped her through a real family trauma.
When Peggy...
Just ignore PCL he's a washed up former AT pilot who decided that pushing trolleys in Wal-Mart was better than flying for SWA.
Wait till the General chimes in
Pilots at Southwest Airlines picketed at the airline's hub at Love Field in Dallas on Wednesday and the shareholders meeting in MDW. The pilots are not on strike, but they're trying to draw attention to their demands for better contracts and the slow pace of negotiations. Pilots at Southwest...
Come on don't disrespect your profession, what happened to airmanship skills?
Why would you wait for a controller to bail you out, he's not the pilot you are. Get a grip of the yoke or stick and fly the way your were trained and have pride in your profession.
This would be a great opportunity for the General to fly a 787 and also PCL ( all glass cockpits and not the SWA classics with the round dials that you were afraid to fly - real airmanship skill required)
Its a three way split with AA V Us Air east V US air west(America West) good luck to that. I was told by a friend of mine who was a captain for US Air east that the AA way is the only way and the AA gestapo is in full control, there door is over there and don't let it hit you on the way out
They deserve every penny($) they get, there was no increase for 800's and international flying and the integration of Air Tran (I know its a dead subject)
ALPA is only interested in getting money into the coffers and playing nice with the legacies and lip service to everyone else. Look how they let down the AirTran guys and it came down to them getting as much money before the AirTran pilots went over to SWAPA.
WOW the General surfaced again, oil is cheap now but it costs a lot to run the refinery and this is not helped in anyway with the low oil costs. It does help the air carriers bottom line of course
