    JB app window open

You sold back all of your vacation and sick time for the year, then forgot to mention it or explain it. That's lame. And very unusual.

    JB app window open

Because it is a once a year occorance if you sell back all your vacation and sick time. Its not just abnormal, it is hyper-abnormal. And mostly because you didn't explain all of this upfront in your original post.

    JB app window open

Dude, that was pretty lame to put that paycheck out there. You can ONLY do what you did if you take NO vacations and don't get sick each year. Completely not normal.

    JB rumors

Does that assume the E90 deliveries are growth aircraft?

Should I leave Allegiant for Frontier

    I would say definitely Frontier.

    JB rumors

Great "story", still an embellishment by the chief, or at the very least a half-truth. Hire 400, NET 200+.
  7. S

    JB rumors

Confirmed with both a lead recruiter and check airmen, planning 200 for attrition next year, about 200+ NET, so no we won't be a 4000 group by 2016.

    JB rumors

BS, I have had several friends hired recently, all RJ captains. All said there class was very experienced.

    JB rumors

This is what I worry about. Until I see a press release that justifies WHY we would need 400-450 new hires for the next few years, I will believe it is for attrition and a rumor to keep meat in the seats.

    Any Jetblue calls?

Quote me please? Otherwise crawl back into your horrible 100 hole.

    Any Jetblue calls?

They will just stay at JB, and complain....

    Any Jetblue calls?

Agree, except the 330s... But most of your post validates my 200 NET number. Although if a lot of the attrition is from AA furlough returns, that is good because it comes off the upper half of the list instead of the bottom 10%. I personally doubt many of the AA guys will return, but hope I am...

    Any Jetblue calls?

I'm just saying there are only so many planes coming the next 3 years, 12-15-15. That requires a certain number of pilots, and it isn't 400-450 a year. Maybe the company is planning for a new contract, but color me skeptical...

    JB rumors

So is two chicks at the same time. Doesn't mean it will happen. I hope you are right, just don't see any reason for it yet.

    Any Jetblue calls?

    Net 200.
  16. S

    JB rumors

That's fine, but if attrition or retirements make up a large proportion of that number, we won't NET anywhere near 400-450. Thus (FNG style) We may not get close to 4000 by 2017. Hope we do, but.....

    Any Jetblue calls?

Or 1st year pay, or NYC reserve, or pay your own hotel in training.
  18. S

    Any Jetblue calls?

Sorry, the whole "I can't tell you how I know" b.s. doesn't give you more credibility. Your bluepilots.com rumor or similar DL pilots rumor does not become true by simply repeating it. Unless Richard Anderson is your uncle, you don't know ********************.
  19. S

    Any Jetblue calls?

Give me a break, he would not actually know if this happened. The fact that he was a furlough doesn't mean he knows about a call to the Delta CEO or what ever the rumor is. Repeating rumors around doesn't make them true.

    Any Jetblue calls?

True. I have only ever flown with one JB captain with apps out, but I'm sure a lot of FOs do. This is JBs problem to fix and defend against.
