    Falcon 900 I CANT WAIT :-)

I'd rather be flying a Lear 23! Maybe not nearly the range as a 900...but totally awesome! Not only that...I like that one joke, "what is the difference between a cactus and a learjet?...the cactus has the pricks on the outside!"

Who says "Hi" in the terminal?

While I was freight trash...my biggest thrill was going into the FBO's late at night when all the corporate guys were dead tired and I was just coming alive and stopping in for fuel... the aghast ooks they would give us as we hopped out in our cargo shorts and sweat stained shirts just made me...

Who says "Hi" in the terminal?

What I found in my pilot penguin suit travels in terminals, if you have 3 stripes, the 4 strippers look right though you but other FO's grunt, nod or say hello. As far as FBO's go...everyone seems to be pretty pleasant....whether you are wearing the typical pilot outfit or in corporate attire.

    Hired!

Sounds like you have practiced the Cessna/Learjet speach for a while...Since I have moved on from Lear to a CItation VII...my Lear friends rip on me pretty good..."So, does that citation of yours come with the bird strike kit? You know, the chicken wire on the back of the engines so the birds...

    Lear 20 Drivers-Plastic Windows

Once at cruise altitude...just crack open the windshield heat and that should keep up with it during the descent. Sounds like that is what you are doing though...Maybe the only other way to deal with it is to quit going to those nice warm humid climates...stay up in the frozen tundra! --Seabass

    Allegheny Furloughs?

Was it the last class that was hired in? I had a friend that went there in Feb, just hoping he is not in the foodstamp line. Was this the first of a lot more to be terminated? Thanks! -Seabass

    Citation VII Pilots

Are you going to FSI in TOL or ICT? I went to FSI and they hooked me up ahead of time with all of the manuals so I had the opportunity to know what a wemac was before I had the firehose treatment. Give them a holler and they might be in the UPS truck tomorrow!

    Would you go ?

I was under the impression that the RVSM started at FL310 and went up to 390. In my limited experience, we have always gone under the RVSM...ie FL290 or FL280. The 35 will still sip gas at those altitudes. Have fun down there! --Seabass

Anyone familiar with Lear 60 operations?

Been overseas a few times in a Lear 36 via 2 fuel stops. Although eachtime was cramped with 4-6 people (including crew) it was doable. Just don't drink anything til you are atleast 1 hour from destination...holding it is a lot harder when there is no lav and all you see is water, water...

There's good Mexican in Idaho? My guess would be a twice baked potato and refried beans, eh? ;) Also, Ypsilanti is better known for the great 25 cent drafts at the Diamondback Saloon, Yeeee Hawwww! SeaBass!

    Best "little" airports?

If you make it to the great lakes area.... KMCD - Mackinaw Island...good clean family fun, known for the abundance of fudge shops, forts and horsedrawn carriages. 3W2 - Put-In-Bay, Ohio...take all of the fudgeshops on Mackinaw Island and replace them with bars and that is 3W2. (Still a lot...
