    Unical SLI is out...

Read all 57 pages of the opinion and then consider whether or not the CAL atty's did "an outstanding job." My favorite quote from page 22: "Not surprisingly, the ISL produced by the CAL Committee's fatally defective methodology is neither fair nor equitable." That about sums it up. See you...

    Occupy FlightInfo.com

I find it very difficult to respect the opinion of someone who cannot use spellcheck or proper grammar. It weakens your entire argument. Have you not learned anything from Rick Perry? (Hah.) Do you proofread what you type before you press the "submit reply" button? Regardless of what you...

New CAL 737 Bases DEN / ORD

Bingo. At about the 9:24 mark, Glenn Tilton states he "right-sized the operation" to make the DOJ issue evaporate. This right-sizing was the parking of 100 aircraft on the UAL side, and the furlough of 1436 of my brothers and sisters--and myself. Been on furlough almost 8 years total. And...

    New bid at CAL

Andy, what I should have said in my original post was involuntarily furloughed pilots off of the 400/777. Yes, I know, there were plenty of people in the 75/76 when they got the involuntary boot. You were one of them. I actually didn't know of any 400/777 guys that took the voluntary...

    New bid at CAL

Guys, UAL has zero furloughees that were tossed out while still on the 777/400. In fact, most furloughees were A320 or 300 drivers by the time they got "surplused". Very few furloughees went directly from the 767 to the unemployment line. That means the most senior furloughed pilot with a...

    UA / CAL Picketing ........... MAY 3rd ............ 10 LOCATIONS

Sad to say but UAL/CAL ALPA will die with a whimper, not in some burning house of love. Why? Apathy/inaction by most members and reckless conduct against the injunction by the few (percentage-wise) loose cannons will take away our ability to self-help., courtesy of Judge Lefkow. Gotta love...

    SWA Application Question

Anybody else having trouble adding the resume to the application? I've tried both a .pdf and a .doc and all it says is "loading" but no movement of the progress line. It's been this way for 15 minutes. Anybody? Thanks.

United may ground 757-300 and 767-200 to curb fuel cost

Just to clarify: United got rid of their 767-200's back in the early 2000's. And we all know what happened to United's 737-500's. It seems to me the cuts, if they do come, are from the CAL side of the house. Regardless, parking aircraft sucks. SCR

    Unusual airline call signs

If I recall the story correctly, the home of ASA being Atlanta is also (obviously) the home of Coca-Cola. And Coca-Cola was first mixed in the Atlanta pharmacy of Asa Candler on May 8, 1886. SCR
