Legacy Bashfest - Bring it on!

Jungle Jet Used to work for the fractionals. Rode a lot of airlines to and fro. The Jungle Jet was the loudest, roughest riding jet I have ever been on. Don't forget the afformentioned structure problems. I know of two that "broke" (ROA/DFW). I'd rather drive than ride that piece of crap again.

    NetJets Bad Santa in LAS

Netjets Santa I feel bad for Netjet Santa. But, how the hell can a Netjet pilot afford a lawyer, let alone gas to drive from Vegas to Phoenix? P.S. I'm back!

    flexjet problem at IAD

Well, I did the "homework", and I left Flexjet. The math wasn't hard to figure out. I was making $36,000 at Flex as a second year FO. Over here I made $42,000 my first 12 months (No, that is still not good). For the learning impaired, that's a $6,000 a year raise off the bat. I don't like to...

    flexjet problem at IAD

Lumber yak, since flexlrpilot357 is such a stickler for accuaracy, allow me to correct your "18 month FO's", statement. In fact, my buddy I was hired with is actually coming up on 36 months. If they are the only profitable fractional, yet still no growth or upgrades, I'll gladly stick with my...

    Netjets Pay Increase?

Because 65% isn't enough, and not everyone wants 7&7. Beside the point the 65% is nothing more than a rumor. Compensation has not even been discussed yet in negotiations.

    FlexJet Schedule

Redeye, to make an informed decision on Flex, go back and read some of threads in which Flexjet is the topic. You will see that the overwhelming majority of Flex posts are negative. Many, many pilots have left there for Netjets. I saw a Flex captain at a new hire class in CMH a couple weeks ago...

3 CAP pilots killed outside of TYS

Very sad news. The crash happened not far from where my parents live. To make it even more sad, found out this morning that Chuck Hall was a fellow Netjet pilot. My heart goes out to his family. If any other Netjet folks know anything about a collection for his family or anything, send me a...

    Flexjet 2

Dear Semore, glad my ramblings entertain. Welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy the extra appendages. The Hawker is a gentleman's airplane, jack of all trades, master of none. Cool thing is, you'll be a captain, almost as soon as you want, and have the flexability to switch aircraft if you want...

Whatever helps you sleep at night. If you where as smart as you thought you were, you would know that fellow now flys the Citation X. I fly the Hawker. Dick Tracy you are not.

What is flying a Lear 23,25,35 like?

Great stories. Lears have to be the best performing bizjets out there. I have flown the 25, the 35, the 55 (the real pig of the family), and the one that has been left out of this thread, my favorite, the 60. The 60 has the climb performance of the 24, but is not as quick to stab you in the...

    flexjet

Your last post shows how much you really know. I'm not the guy that walked off during the middle of the rotation (I know him. He is a good guy and he had his reasons). I passed up opportunities to leave early to a bigger aircraft because I felt it important to give a 2 weeks notice. Proves my...

Flexlr357, You must drink lots of blue koolaid. If you are content to work there in a job that is not as good as you think (comparitively), then more power to you. There's always those willing to "settle". However, my point is, pilots use this sight as an information source to gather info and...

    flexjet

Hey Flexlr357. Over here at NJA, we do stay at Hiltons exclusively (unless absolutely not available), we do choose the meal we want, and we are growing at a phenominal rate. And you know what? We are all happy (for the most part). I am another one of those "malcontents" (is that latin for "one...

As someone who left Flexjet to go to Netjets, my advice would be not to even consider them. It was that bad.

How do they do it at EJA?

Flying Pax Just want to add my 2 cents. As I believe a previous poster said, FOs CAN fly pax legs. The stipulation is that both pilots must have 250 hours in type, and it is at the captains discretion. I can't speak for the other fleets, but in the plane I fly, generally the captain asks at the...

    Jumpseat Rides for Fractional Pilots

EMB145, I'm sorry one of our guys put you on the hot seat. They should have known better. It's hard enough just coming to and from work on a revenue ticket. All of our tickets are last minute, one-way fares. That usually earns the full search in the gate area before we board in uniform.

    Alan Keyes is making sense

I too am an Alan Keyes fan. Although I like Bush and the job he is doing, Keyes was my first choice. It was pathetic he wasn't allowed to participate in all of the presidential debates.

    True Story, no joke....

So, ifly4food, my use of the words dumbass, and jackass, make my post unprofesional and unintelligent. I suppose your use of the word "Cracker" to describe people south of the Mason-Dixon line, and their feelings of pride about their history and culture, is eloquent and enlightened. You are a...

    True Story, no joke....

Hey, ifly4food. I thought you where supposed to be a moderator, not an instigator. Your dumbass comment about people south of the Mason-Dixon didn't show much moderation. Before you belittle us southern folk with your confused, biased reteric, go spend the afternoon at the FBO in Teterhole, La...
