Well Im already blocked at 97 hours with 102 hours of credit. I dont think I will have any luck picking up any trips so that is why I say GOOD LUCK this weekend ASA.
Ok I am opening a can of worms here but with all the restricted days we had each month the company decided to offer premium pay for this weekend. I guess ASA finally realized we are short staffed. Hmmmmm now they want us to help them after we tried to swap our trips and keep getting denied...
You know its funny how Charlie Tutt comes with his scare tactic on the pilots and so far there has been no paycuts anywhere at ASA. All employess except for union members are eligible for this so called profit sharing. If ASA is really not competitive, why hasnt ASA manangement taken any...
Wow this is really a heated debate, but the truth of the matter is that we are losing this battle to managment. No matter what our opinions are, managment see us vunerable and we must stop them. We must remember that is not the decision of any pilot group that decides which aircraft to operate...
So now that our imcompetent management failed to reach an agreement with our CNC, what is next for ASA? I keep hearing that a possible strike vote is coming, but I have been waiting 2 years for that. Has anyone heard anything so far????
I have vacation in August and there is no way I am giving up my time for them. I believe the pilots of ASA has done alot to keep this company running. They are trully showing their true colors by violating our contract and the slow progress in our negotiations. So the answer to management is...
As a professional pilot, I am greatly dissapointed with most of the comments made on this thread. Supporting the gay and pride event is to attract potential customers gay or straight. The gay and pride events is just not for gays and lesbians, they welcome anyone who is willing to show their...
I undersand the company like UPS or FedEx has CDO's. We on the other hand have a contract that we all agreed on. We all know that our current contract is poorly written, but we understand that our contract states and I am quoting "The company WILL NOT require a pilot to fly more than 3 CDO's...
My question is to everyone. How much more can the pilots take this abuse from management? How much more will management violate our contract? Bottom line we are all tired of management's interpretation of our contract and continue to violate it. We must all work together to fight for a fair...
I heard from a friend who is a student at Flight Safety and he told me that ASA is no longer taking any students. Does anyone know if this rumor is true?
I knew all along they were a few good Delta pilots out there who cared about DCI. Before I get slashed by other Delta pilots, I would like to show my support to all those furloughed. I do too want you guys back to work ASAP. I know its been tough for you guys and it still not easy to see...
Hmmm I smell a rat!!!
Hmmm it sounds like a junior guy is about to flow back with all this guys being displaced or bidding to Dallas. In my years flying to Dallas, I never had any problems with the rampers. My opinion the rampers in Dallas are a lot nicer than most of the rampers in...
Well said Saberliner
Hey guys, when I started working for ASA, I was assigned the Brasilia. I had a great time flying it and its sure a great weight loss program. Watch out Jenny Craig!!! ;)
Hey when I mailed them my resume I heard from them about a week later and got scheduled for an interview a month later and 10 days later I got the call. If you have any more questions, feel free to send me an email
;)
