Why is AT&T losing its pilots?

Yeah... Who wants to hear somebody bitch and moan about something that happened in the past.

Why is AT&T losing its pilots?

So let me see if I've got this straight: None of them can fly worth a sh*t (except for the aerobatic guy.) Aerobatic pilots are better than the rest. Morons and Jacka**es run rampant at the operation in question. You want to have a sexual relationship with Mark W. Does that about cover it...

Why is AT&T losing its pilots?

    This^^ Not this^^

Why is AT&T losing its pilots?

I'll take that bet. You have no idea how we run our flight department. You are making isht up and projecting your own mentality on people you don't know.

What do you think it's worth?

    This^^

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

Dude. They're not ALL good. You don't bet everything you've got on every hand. If G100driver can get a good job, and I can get a good job, it can't be that hard to get a good job. (Sorry, G-man. No offense :))

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

I disagree. See my earlier post. You just have to pick and choose a little and have some patience. An awful lot of guys raise when they should stay.

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

    What he said ^^

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

Nobody's saying that the job isn't crap, Stranger; just saying that patternmaster doesn't know what he's talking about.
  10. gern_blanston

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

Dunno if that's correct or not. I've only flown for three '135 operators in my career, and 2 of them were awesome, and one not too bad, so that's 33% not-too-bad in my tiny life. Incorrect.

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

    Excellent post.

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

Dumbest post I've read in a long time. Most of the really great jobs in aviation are jobs that no one's heard of. A lot of us are very happy flying under the radar at little privately-held outfits with outstanding QOL, benefits, and pay. And it's "decent", Descent is what you begin at T.O.D.

    What would you do?

To the O/P: Do what you think is best for you. You're the only one that can decide. Personally, I wouldn't leave my Part 91 job for all the rice in China (or a honkin' big paycheck flying for Brand X.) I'm the chief pilot for a small privately-held corporation, flying great equipment with...

Methinks 'twas not an airport problem.

    Future of the Hawker 4000

I'm not an Obama fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I reckon the answer to your question is, well, Zero.

    Future of the Hawker 4000

I never could see why anyone would want one of those miserable things anyway: Challenger 300 cabin, and Falcon 2000 range on 2,500# more fuel. And now the mothership is imploding... No thanks. OK, it's got 2 packs.

    Corporate Hangars...

We built a hangar last year and got 30 years with a guaranteed 10 year option at the end. After 40 years, it's renegotiation time. No one has ever had their hangar taken by the city, but that theoretically is a possibility.

G650 KIAD-LSGG in just under 7 hrs, not too shabby.

Thanks for making me chuckle a little bit this morning. Great post.

Any Known Upcoming G650 Operators? Where do I send my app????

Rod, no offense, but if you're in this business for the money, you ain't firin' on all cylinders. It's ALL about QOL. If you want to make a bunch of money, you should plan on working 350 days a year either at your own business or at some high-paying job. Gulfstream200 hit the nail on the...

Any Known Upcoming G650 Operators? Where do I send my app????

Why would you say that? You are incorrect. Anyone who wants can indeed fly a 777 or a '650. You just have to work your ass off for a long time, and be smart, maybe even a little crafty. You hear a lot of guys talk about how lucky they have been in their aviation careers. Hell, I'm one of...
