Commuting? From someone who know nothing

I'm a current commuter, and have done so off and on for the past 10 years. I recently transitioned to a major from the regionals and am no longer based where I live. While I absolutely love my new job, the commute has taken a toll. As a regional captain on reserve in base, I spent so much more...

    Endeavor air thanks

I spent almost 9 years jumpseating on Delta mainline as a connection pilot. Never was I treated as a second class citizen or disrespectfully. Quite the contrary actually. I think you're a little sensitive, mister.

    Monthy Attrition.

I know tons of guys at ASA chomping at the bit to punch out. Just waiting on class dates.

    Updates on former Pinochle co-workers

Is that why he works with the Professional Standards Committee and came to personally do our training? That's an ALPA function and I'm pretty sure they "forgave" him to allow him to hold some sort of ALPA position. Let alone being the cheerleader for pro-stans. Kind of ironic, don't ya think?

LXJT pilot has ordered contract wristbands

Wrist bands are a crap idea and tacky. Give me a sticker any day.

XJT management at the negotiation table requests.....

Sorry, but no. The buck's got to stop somewhere. Why not here. Where is the email? I never got it.

Skywest pilot tool rides a belt loader

The moronic crap that some of you guys type is amazing. It's scary who's flying plane loads of people around. Then again, this is flightinfo. After 8 years of reading this stupid message board you'd think I'd be used to it by now.

Skywest pilot tool rides a belt loader

    Said the GoJet pilot... Brilliant.

Skywest pilot tool rides a belt loader

I see what you did there

Skywest pilot tool rides a belt loader

He's neither a tool or a "dumbazz". Does it make you feel cool to bash this guy for doing more than just his job? Get a life!

    ASA Neg Chair canned?

Classy post. Anything else to get off your chest?

    ASA Neg Chair canned?

He might be a good pilot, but the way he treats FO's can't be defended. I've flown with most of the gems at this company, and he was by far the worst. Thank god it was only a nap. That doesn't really matter though regarding his work with the negotiations. Maybe he can channel some of that...

    ASA Neg Chair canned?

This alone will be a huge QOL boost for ATL FO's! I've heard good things about the guy outside of the cockpit and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can get done.

    ASA Neg Chair canned?

Great move! Now lets move forward and get this thing done.

    Joint ASA/XJT MEC meeting

Horrible idea. We need to all be on the same page, on the same list and have the same contract. Without that, we all lose.

    LXJET 70+ seat rates out

Sometimes it takes some extra effort than just sitting around and waiting for things to get done. A little effort goes a long way. It's called customer service. Remember that?

    LXJET 70+ seat rates out

I wish there was a "Like" button on here.

    LXJET 70+ seat rates out

I agree with Smartpref not being a smart choice. I'm very happy with what we have at ASA. That's not entirely the issue though. We have 2 MEC's who are more at odds with each other than the company. It's really sad to see us fighting amongst ourselves vs. working collectively to find real...

    LXJET 70+ seat rates out

Are you kidding me? That's so extremely short sighted. What we have here is a perfect storm of negotiating leverage on the side of management. The arbitrated rates they just got on the LXJT side is just the tip of the iceberg of what they want to do to ASA. If anything I'm concerned about our...

Question for RJ drivers without VNAV

Sometimes we use simple math and junk. Mind blowing I know.;)
