    Basics on the Lear 45...

Could anyone run some numbers for me. Comparing the XL and the 45 need to know second segment and runway from a 3000' MSL airport at 90 and 110 with 2100 lbs of payload and 3500 lbs of gas. If some one has the XL too that would be great. Thanks all

OLD vs. NEW This is something I put together and the reason I wanted to know the past rates. Enjoy. Thanks for the input everyone! A comparison… The old (first) regional jet vs. the new daring of the fleet regional jet The Douglas Aircraft Company (now Boeing) DC-9 (series 30) and the...

Does anyone have a pilot pay scale for the DC-9 back in the 70's?

    Freedom to ATL??

It should keep folks from busting thier facial bones on the hard surfaces below the aircraft. This seems all too common and in some cases it is an incident or accident (depending on the condition of the 'victom') that goes on the pilots' record.

    Berry Aviation, San Marcos, TX

Yep if you only stay a year you made $12000. I can think of a lot easier ways to make $12000yr. Starbucks...they have health and a 401k, and pay about $18,000 ($9 hr) for full time hours! I know that some little kid will do this and has in the past.

    Amflight Pay

Ameriflight... How many work days is the pay based on (SA227/BE1900)? Is it 4 or 5 nights, etc. Do you get paid more if you fly an extra day? Any other pay info will be great. If I want an interview what should I do. Done the online app. Emailed a resume. Whats next? (I'd like a...

Mesa 900 screwed the pooch on landing

About the US Air claims… I’ve had (one more than one occasion) someone tell me, "my buddy is a Pilot US Airways." "He’s only 23 years old!" “Wow,” I say “he must have started for them when he was 10 years old!” That’s just funny to me because no one knows who they are flying on. I think...

    Airnet Upgrade Question

Eirly post said a FMS is a fancy GPS. Not all FMS’ equipped airplanes have GPS. Some airlines fly old sh!# too ie 737-200, 727, DC-9, & MD-80. Fly freight or people doesn’t make you better than others. What you take from that experience makes you better. I’ve done both a good mix of...

Settling a bet on air taxis and pilot entrepreneurs

Sorry change agent, it seems most have mis-understood your questions. Yes I would serve as a pilot, manager, etc. for a small salary…as an investment. In turn a piece of the profits and/or company would be a sweet deal as long as it was a successful startup. Do you have one you want to talk...
