    TWA settlement

ALPA is pretty much finished. One of the TWA principles in the fight summed it pretty well today when he said: "One fact is certain: ALPA is broke; squandered in obscene payrolls and perks. The only real money they have will go to the payout to us".

Let foreign airlines fly US domestic routes article

American carrier "first class" can't compete with European/ME coach class. "That idiot" has it right. Now that I'm out of the industry and a consumer, cabotage can't come fast enough.

Article on Sports Charters at Delta

What is really great is not paying for "USA Day-Before-Yesterday". They are readily available since most pro athletes can't read...and the moronic crosswords are so bad they get a PHD if they leave it on the crapper lid less than 1/3 solved.

"What's next now for AA/US possible merger'

It's more fun to speculate that AA doesn't even need the eastholes. Just take the planes and the west pilots. Solves a ton of current and potential major problems.

AMR can abandon pilots' union contract -judge

Good post. I'm sure there are many that secretly feel the Nordstrom pilots should have their turn at losing homes, retirements and families.

    AA Contract UPHELD!!

Only temporary. Even the AA FA union is re-iterating that the judge only tossed 2 elements of the 1113. That will change on Friday when AMR does a fast rewrite and repetitions with the judge. APFA is recommending strongly that the FA's approve their TA. One comment from their hotline says it...
