    Allegiant Contract?

Not until there's a management change or merger.

    Allegiant Striking?

No, Allegiant Teamsters is still bound by the TRO the NMB has nothing to do with that.....they were merely saying their spokesperson who said we couldn't strike was misquoted. The NMB doesn't get inolved 'till they decide on the release from negotiations proffer.

    Swa pilots-stay away from pprune

If you believe what you read on pprune you would never get into expat flying in fact you would never get into flying period and you would never even leave home 'cause every job is a scam they are all crooked they don't pay anywhere near enough or what they say they will the medicals and sim...

    Allegiant Pilot Schedules

Can't go on like this forever - 1000/365 lookback is gonna catch up to them.

    Allegiant sub charters

They're not upgrading anyone right now, and haven't for months.
  6. reepicheep

The pilot shortage is already here. Airlines cut flights.

If this were true why do you need inside recommendations just to -maybe- get a interview, pretty much everywhere?

    Allegiant sub charters

Falcon Air Express most likely...... Those folks are gonna have a decision to make in a couple years; less maybe depending on mediation.

    Allegiant sub charters

True.....HAL gave even senior folks lines with 12 days off and reserve days thrown in....

    Allegiant sub charters

Well the primary reason to stick with Allegiant was QOL/schedules now even that has gone down the $h!tter with the advent of HAL so I suspect even captains will start looking at Spirit jetBlue Vigin in addition to the legacies of course. The question is how many/ how fast.

    Allegiant sub charters

Definitely a good move for anyone who can afford the pay hit. I wouldn't advise anyone to go to G4 anymore, even if they do live in FL.

    Allegiant sub charters

And I wish them the best of luck! It's still devilishly hard to get an airline job, that's all I'm saying. Even for well-qualified folks like MD80 Captains....

    Allegiant sub charters

This is how a friend describes Allegiant: You are hired by Reserve Allegiant, to plug whatever hole caused by seasonal variations in flying, lack of foresight in hiring, simulator breakdowns, or other temporary crisis. Your life may not be your own for some time although it helps greatly if you...

Judge Silver issued her decision in Addington II

Not just luck but Smashingly well played. They've just about done it. 10 years ago these guys were carrying their flight bags home with them so they could keep them when the place shut down & they padlocked the crew room. 17 yr. guys on the street. And they have managed not only to survive...

    Allegiant sub charters

I think estimates of attrition are overblown. Yeah almost everyone's looking but at the same 3 airlines (ok, plus maybe Alaska if you have a Silver Bullet and SW if you don't mind a 15-year upgrade) along with 15,000 other apps. Could take a few years to score an interview unless you know...

Mindset of the typical US Airways east pilot?

Pretty much your standard mainstream rusthead/ AFO mentality. Nothing new to see here.

    Unical SLI is out...

It's written in the award.....United "troubled" but not a chronic loser about to liquidate like usair was.....not like some previous mergers of unequals with one much weaker party (gee I wonder who they're referring to....)

Big expansion: Allegiant targets NYC, Charlotte markets

Anything's possible of course. Allegiant doesn't do hubs, certainly not against United. It would be a gigantic philosophical paradigm shift for them to consider such a transaction.

JetBlue Takeover Appeal Grows Amid AMR Limbo - Article

A merger with Airways would be a disaster. Merge with a LCC, bring their costs up to Airways' astronomically high level rendering them unompetitive in their home turf. Been tried 3 times already. DOJ would kill it anyway.

US DOJ Suing to Block Meger of AMR and US Airways

You know you're wrong but sucessfully exploit the glacial pace of legal proceedings to cause enough delay to effectively win. Nice.
