US Airways (east) PBGC Question
I was Furloughed in 2003, then pseudo - early retirement. Started taking the PBGC cash at 50. About $800/mo. after Fed Taxes. I was with the company roughly 18 years. -

Sorry, I'm neither SWA or AT, but it seems relative position with a 5 year fence on the uncommon bases would be fair. You just don't want to see someone who was about to upgrade at either airline, to have to wait several more years. -

I believe I agree with the statement that without Hyd you are an uncontrolled lawn dart. Mech Back up is for a complete lack of Flight Control Computers, not for a complete loss of Hyd. With no Hyd, how do you move the control surfaces? Answer is ... you can't. -
