    EJA Interview

Stork, If you don't work there, or are not trying to work there, why try to put down what other people are trying to do? Sounds a little like sour grapes to me....EJA was too smart to hire you.

    Citation Excel FMS

Yep, I'm headed to EJA. Cant wait to get started. I go to indoc on Feb. 4th and sim March 8 in CMH. So it looks like I'll get to train with the FMZ system like I'm used to. Got the SOP's in the mail, not much different than what I've been doing. I'll just have to change the wording a little...

    Citation Excel FMS

Anybody out there familiar with the Excel FMS. I've been teaching and flying the Primus 2000 equipment in the DO-328, and I was wondering how similar the Excel FMS is to the 328 FMS. Does it have hold capabilities? Does it have any approach capability? I mean are approaches in the FMS or do...

    Fairchild Metro and Merlin???

Exactly right Metrosheriff, forgot about that one!!! We had the early Metro's at Rio Airways in Texas back in the eary 80's when I was there and before. I missed the 226's thank goodness and flew the Twin Otter. I know one guy who had 9 engine failures in the 226's. He was prematurely gray...

    Fairchild Metro and Merlin???

Metros are long, Merlins are short fuselages. Early Metros were 226's that barely flew on 2 engines much less 1. The later ones were 227's, and 23's that were better. Both models of the Metros were Garrett powered. Early Merlins had different fuselages than the later Merlin 3b's. Some of...

flyingdog, Just wondered if you could edit your post a little bit. Maybe it's just me, but some of the stuff you wrote makes absolutely no sense in the way it reads. Just my observation. Thanks, TR328

    EJA Aircraft Assignments

2000flyer, I was given the choice of the Ultra or Excel. I took the Excel. I spoke to one other guy and he got the call on the same day and he got the Hawker, so I don't know what you will get. I think it just depends on their needs. TR328
