    B767 Fuel burn

    Can any of you DHL or Airborne guys comment regarding a typicall flight plan fuel burn for a six hour leg. No alternate, no contigencey, no holding just the leg fuel. If not six hours, how about four as a place to start. Either JT9' or CF6's are okay for this estimate. Thanks in advance

    You are correct on all the above. The materials are the big issue and yes it is very, very expensive to maintain these systems, so some people just ignore it and hope for the best!
