    its true, they were downsized 3 or 4 months ago when delta made all their cuts. we have been overstaffed since then, but there are new 145 upgrades in progress now. i dont beleive that the FL flying will come back to summer 05' levels, ever.

    You obviously have NO CLUE about the stock market. The actual price of a stock has no bearing on how much value it has. A stock priced at $3.00 could be considered much more expensive that a stock priced at $95.00. You have to look at is price to earning ratio (P/E) to determine growth as well...

    They did it because of the Mid-Atlantic pilots coming over on the J4J deal. They only take 3 weeks to train VS. 5 weeks, so that way Republic can take more aircraft faster for cheaper. The captains currently at Republic used to be 145 captains, thus creating a temporary need for new 145...
