LOA for Compass and Mesaba flow ups to DL

True although the new loa says those limits can be waived upon joint agreement of the two companies.

LH says CSeries has better fuel burn/pax than A-380

When is the last time a new mainline fleet type was introduced? Has there been one since the 50 seat regional jet was outsourced?

    US Airways buying Republic

If your post is a question, why is your title a statement? It's misleading

    Skywest to buy Mesaba?

You raise a good point, which is that none of these airlines actually own the 900's (or E-175s for Compass) so mergers and acquisitions are almost an exercise. Why buy an airline (crew supply company) when they don't own their planes and they could just be transferred to the potential purchaser.

    Skywest to buy Mesaba?

Compass+Freedom+Republic 36+0+16=52 153 minus the 52 above = 101 Compared to 85 below: ------ In the event the flow provisions of NWA LOA 2006-10 and LOA 2006-14 cease to be available, either at the feeder carrier affiliate referenced in such LOAs or at another carrier, the number of jet...

    Skywest to buy Mesaba?

Is there any money on the odds of the announcement? Or is it going to be a new logo?

    Ok ALPA WTF

I don't understand why companies sell their subsidiaries for short term gains while guaranteeing they have to pay long term profits to the new owner.

Severe Turbulence on Albany-Bound Plane Injures Fliers

Turbulence on a Continental Airlines flight from Ohio to New York battered around passengers and crew, injuring four No one ever says it was operated by an outsourcing contractor, not Continental Airlines

    PAX complain @ crew line-jumping

Sucks! It's the same at two airlines I've worked at. I'd be curious to know who has which policy, gate or airport.

Why do reps always say "Call your reps". Wouldn't it be easier to write one email or make one recorded phone line than answer hundreds of phone calls that ask the same questions?

    Delta and Compass Arrangement

The agreement was written by NWA and NWA ALPA before Compass pilots were hired yet. So Compass pilots didn't write themselves an agreement, NWA pilots wrote one that seemed fair to them. The agreement allows for 20 a month to flow back and 20 a month to flow up. Flow backs get super seniority...

    Delta and Compass Arrangement

If you look in the Delta ALPA library under contract language/LOA's, you'll find an LOA that Delta signed accepting all existing NWA LOAs, including 2006-10 and 2006-14 feeder hiring and flow through language. Delta also signed an LOA adapting the terms from the flow LOA to eliminate EDAP (an...

    Delta and Compass Arrangement

30 months is true. However since only 25% of the list can go per year it's reasonable to make 4 years the minimum
