    B-757 Headset question

New hire going to the B757/67 and am wondering what type of headset to use. I currently use the Bose QC-15 with the UFLY mic, but was hoping to go with something more on the ear like the Telex 750. Are the cockpits quiet enough for that or do I need ANR still? Any words of advice? Thanks!

    Going to AMS

Haven't been there before. The gf and I are going out for a couple days. Are there any hotels that give discounts to crew members, or any that are recommended? Thanks!

    FAA can't figure it out

This was in a story about the Cessna that was lost and flew over DC. The FAA press release included this remark. When he got lost, he didn't call air traffic control or a flight service station to establish his location, which was 40 to 45 miles south of where he actually was, the FAA said...

    Laser Tag

Looks like the terroists gave the feds an idea... Good thing we don't smoke weed. That would be a cool light show in the cockpit. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/lasers_planes
