No rules are broken at McCall, I can't speak for all operators, but everyone is very supportive there. I was never pressured in to anything that I did not feel was safe. Pretty quality operation if you ask me. Backcountry flying is just not for everyone.
I believe they have found crew for this aircraft, but Dan the pres. of the company is always trying to find somebody who will work for nothing. Goodluck!
"He said the plane shook and the captain came on the p.a. and said we've lost engine 1."
Now I have never flown 121, but I wouldn't think that you would tell a 737 load of people that you just "lost engine 1". I don't know, call me crazy.
I have not flown for them but I know a couple of people who do or have. Their pay is average to low for cargo. Upgrade is usually quick if you have the experiance. Management is a little difficult to work with from what I hear. Some people hate it others don't mind it. Maintenance is...
Are there any CFII's on here with any time in a SR22 or SR20 on the east coast? Spacifically in any major metro areas in the east or LAS, LAX, SAN in the west? If so PM me.

awolbush.com is a brilliant website! So typical of the left. My grandfather was a county comissioner with conservitive views and did not serve in the military. Where was his name on the list? That has to be one of the most worthless websites I've seen besides mulletsgalor.com. B1900DFO I'm...
It's a good thing Lindbergh wasn't as big of **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** 75 years ago as some of you are today. I'm just looking for useful information. And to those of you who actually have useful information, thank you.
Salmon Air is a pretty good company to work for from what I hear. It really depends on what kind of flying you do for them. I fly in the Idaho backcountry for a different company out of Boise and I absolutally love it. They fly in the backcountry in cessna singles and have scheduled routes in...
Thanks for the info Navigator72. It's in a Cirrus SR22. There are many singles that cross the Atlantic every year. I understand that it's not the safest type of flying, I wasn't born yesterday. The flight is going to happen, I'm looking for usefull information on the topic not people who...
I have to ferry a single engine piston across the atlantic in the near future. Does anyone have any info, or now of a website that has info about this. I'm looking for best route, supplies, etc.
Thanks
First of all the difference between a cirrus and a 172 is major. The most expensive 172 is under $200,000. You can't even get into the oldest Cirrus for even close to that which is only three years old. There are less than 900 cirrus out on the market today and 2 rolling off the line every...
