    Gulfstream Airlines to Major?

With over 800 posts I know you are aware of the things posted on these boards, as they are down right depressing. Luckily I have worked my ass off in college in a non-aviation field (biochem), and I have options. I believe most here would agree that $30k is better invested into a dental career...

    Gulfstream Airlines to Major?

ahh northeast Florida is a different story. Figured you were from south Florida because of the GIA bases. It's going to be sad to leave the big T.....i graduate this semester.. :( Anyhow, good luck in getting that PIC time. I still have the flying bug, but all the negativity on this board...

    Gulfstream Airlines to Major?

mostly giving you a hard time... but really.. it's over priced, and many of the people living in south fla are glorified trailer trash. i think anyone that lives in the area now-a-days can atest. i live and go to school in tallahassee and to me it is a breath of fresh air. my dad has been...

    A free hotel room? Ha!

Does it really matter how much he paid for the ticket? Everyone is riding on the same plane and deserves the same service. Someone with a $300 ticket should be treated equally as someone who paid $89. Bumped from his flight (not his fault), buy the fella a hotel room. End of story.

    Flight school at TLH

I don't think you'd be risking your life. A buddy of mine rented a plane of theirs and said he didn't feel very safe. Take a look in eagles hanger and then go take a look in flightline's hanger. IMO, flightline was the easy choice...for whatever reason I feel as if the training and...

    Flight school at TLH

Yes, Eagle. But, I haven't heard many good things about them. Stay with flightline.. well maintained planes, good flight instructors, plus nice facilities.

    Private Pilots license

Flightline Tallahassee? If so, that price is about right. It could be lower, but I would plan on $7000. The folks at flightline set very realistic expectations for the students. Do you plan on training in the warrior or 172? The 172 is quite a bit cheaper b/c it does not have moving map...

    Airline Pilot Pay Too High?

Before I get flamed, I agree that pilots are underpaid. Now, having to hear this pilots vs. doctors argument once again shows how irrational y'all are being. Pilots are trained to handle emergencies when $hit hits the fan, like many other professions out there. Doctors are trained to SAVE LIVES...
