Were any of you guys offered a class given a choice of A/C or has it all been the E190? In responding, be sure to mention when you interviewed. Thanks.

Does fltplan.com constitute a legal weather briefing, or do you still need to call FSS when using this service? Citing of sources in all replys would be beneficial. Thanks.
I am a regional captain wanting to get back to corporate flying for a number of reasons; mainly I don't like the airline lifestyle, i.e. time away from home. (I briefly flew corporate when I was low time before being hired at the airlines.) I have tried for the last couple of years to get back...
Anyone ever flown for a college or university flight department? I am not talking about learning to fly, I am talking about professional flight departments and pilots flying turbine equipment. What are the schedules typically like, the QOL, and the pay? General info is appreciated. Thanks.
I am a captain at a "major" regional airline, about 600 out of 2500 or so. I have an opportunity to fly for a local 135/management company, making about $20K less for the first year. It would take me around 4 years to be back at my current salary. Sounds like a no brainer, but read on...

How can I get called? I have had my stuff in with them since darn near the beginning. I now have 2 LORs, but with the new application system it appears they do not take this into account until after an interview is scheduled. I would like to be among those hired for 2005. Any advice is appreciated.
How does the testing work? Do you have to have a proctor like ERAU, or is it all on-line. How long are the semesters, and how would you rate the program?
Thanks.
Any advice on the interview process would be greatly appreciated. I have read the aviationinterviews.com website so am up on that, but would appreciate any further gouge that anyone is willing to share.
Hey all,
Can someone tell me is the type for a lear 45 different than the standard "LR-JET" type? If so if one has a LR-45 type, acan they fly the other series lears, i.e. 35-31, etc. or are they 2 completely different beasts? Also what could a LR-45 PIC expect to make in the midwest, part 135...

I am considering a career as a frac pilot and was wondering if you who are living the dream could answer a few questions for me.
What is a typical tour like? Could someone post show times, legs, etc. How far in advance do you know where you are going? Do you have to call dispatch after...
Any other flight crew members out there sick of the harassment we as professional airline pilots are recieving form these so-called "security" agents?
Anyone have any good stories to tell/advice to share?
Just wondering if there is a way to search the old info that was poosted on the boards?
This new format is a 100% improvement over the old style, BTW. Nice going.
